Error creating new authz :: Policy forbids issuing for name - ask.pe

Hello everyone, who faced such a mistake? "Error creating new authz :: Policy forbids issuing for name" and how to solve it?

root@ubuntu:~# certbot --apache -d ask.pe
Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Obtaining a new certificate
An unexpected error occurred:
Error creating new authz :: Policy forbids issuing for name
Please see the logfiles in /var/log/letsencrypt for more details.

Hi @walpkit,

Thanks for asking here on the forum. This means that the certificate authority is intentionally not giving you this certificate because of the similarity to http://www.ask.com/, a relatively major search engine service.

My colleague @cpu can look into the possibility of having this changed for you.

Yes, thank you, I would not be interrupted by your help.

@cpu help pls… i waiting)))

Hi @walpkit,

I’ve started the process from our side to remove ask.pe from the issuance policy. I will update this thread when the change has been made in production. This typically takes ~5-12 days.

Thanks for your patience,

thank you!) i waiting.

It’s been 12 days already, and my problem has not been solved …

I suspect it will be done this week. Apologies for the delays. There is a backlog of operations work.

I will update this thread when the change has been made.

Hi again @walpkit,

I’m happy to let you know that the required change has been made in the production environment.

You should be able to issue for ask.pe without encountering the policy error. Please let me know if you are still running into trouble.

Thanks again for your patience.
