Hello everyone, who faced such a mistake? “Error creating new authz :: Policy forbids issuing for name” and how to solve it?

root@ubuntu:~# certbot --apache -d ask.pe

Hi @walpkit,

Thanks for asking here on the forum. This means that the certificate authority is intentionally not giving you this certificate because of the similarity to http://www.ask.com/, a relatively major search engine service.

My colleague @cpu can look into the possibility of having this changed for you.

Hi @walpkit,

I’ve started the process from our side to remove ask.pe from the issuance policy. I will update this thread when the change has been made in production. This typically takes ~5-12 days.
