Do I need to reinstall a renewed certificate on a shared hosting?

I just renewed a certificate for the first time and I have a quick question.

I created and now renewed the certificate on my local machine using Ubuntu and everything went perfect. Does the renewal process end right there or do I need to reinstall the renewed certificate (.pem files) on my shared hosting using cPanel?
I mean, when checking my website it says “Valid to 27/06/2016” even though I just renewed it. I’m not sure if that takes time to update or do I need upload the .pem files again?

Yes, the renewed certificate is a complete replacement for the old one so you need to install that on the server in your case. You might also need to upload other files if they’ve changed since last time.
