Compatability with woocommerce plugin "PayPal powered by braintree"

Id like to know if the SSL certificates issued by Letsencrypt work with the woocommerce plugin “PayPal powered by braintree”, If it does i could save my client a few valuable bucks as they are already on a tight budget
