Change of hosting provider

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:www.trj.it

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: aruba.it

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know):no

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Yes

I should provide for a change of hosting. I have to move a website that already has a valid certificate from the hosting server of aruba.it to the hosting server of google cloud.
The DNS server provider will remain that of aruba but will point to the google cloud server ip.
The existing certificate granted by aruba will not be able to use it on the google cloud server because you can use it only if the web site is hosted on their servers.
My question is as follows:
to be able to have a new certificate with letsencrypt I have to wait until the certificate granted by the host provider of aruba expires or can I proceed immediately with the certificate request procedure with letsencrypt?

You can immediately request a new certificate. Let’s Encrypt has a few rate limits, but all of those are more than one: https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/
