Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

You’re having problems issuing the cert, because whatever tool you’re using to try to do so isn’t putting the challenge file in the right place for your web server to give it in response to the Let’s Encrypt challenge. Why do you think this has anything to do with the Certificate Authority Bundle?

I am most likely wording my assumption wrong. And since you know what is going on, then kindly provide a solution. Where do I start?

You could start by telling us what you're doing to try to issue the cert in the first place.

These simple instructions I follow every 3 months has been the same.
1: go here: https://zerossl.com/
2: click online tools
3: click Start under FREE SSL Cert wizard
4: in: Domains field type: magicanswerbutton.com, www.magicanswerbutton.com
5: click in accept check boxes
6: click next
7: click yes
of course I down load the .txt files (crt and privacy) and the two files I up load to the directory root in control panel public_html/magicanswerbutton.com/.well-known/acme-challenge

but, when I go back to godaddys cpanel to install the certificate, I notice on the .txt files there is no certificate authority bundle. I understand that zero ssl did not generate it since it cant pull the info, but how then was it working before, I am miffed.

thanks for the attempted help. I have it sorted now, I used a different tool/website ssl for free dot com. worked fine. no more headaches.
