I am trying to configure SSL from ssldragon on Centos 9 stream with httpd.
My domain is:www.rim.edu.bt
I ran this command: systemctl start httpd
It produced this output:Job for httpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status httpd.service" and "journalctl -xeu httpd.service" for details.
My web server is (include version): httpd-2.4.57-8.el9.x86_64, mod_ssl-2.4.57-8.el9.x86_64
The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Centos 9 stream
My hosting provider, if applicable, is:
I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): yes
I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):
Well, the information you've provided is not of any help with regard to your issue I'm afraid. You must understand that we don't have crystal balls or are omni-knowledgeable.
Can you please provide more information with regard to what you've done SSL[sic] configuration wise? E.g., share how you (mis)configured Apache?
Also, you have a Sectigo certificate issued in September 2023 which is still valid till September 2024: crt.sh | 10386127440. Are you trying to install that certificate into Apache? If not, what happened to that certificate, which probably cost you some (a lot of?) money?
Doesn't SSLDragon provide you with support? (E.g. https://www.ssldragon.com/how-to/install-ssl-certificate/.) Note that this Community is mainly for help with getting certificates and mainly Let's Encrypt at that. Configuring Apache is such a generic task that it's almost outside of the scope of this Community, although some volunteers might take the time to help you anyway. Although not everybody is that keen on assisting with commercial certificates.
