Can't install certbot because of reported mod_ssl dependancy

I am trying to install certbot following the instructions on the Certbot site for Apache/Centos7. (Cloud Server with WHM/cPanel)

When I try the line ‘sudo yum install certbot-apache’ I always get the message “Processing Dependency: mod_ssl for package: python2-certbot-apache-0.18.1-1.e17.noarch” followed by a long list of packages that will be skipped.

Looking at ‘Easy Apache > View all packages’ it appears that ‘mod_ssl’ IS installed in Apache, so what should I do? I’ve tried the suggested ‘–skip-broken’.but it just produces the same result.
