Can I change the login URL using plugin?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: https://gayletrahd.com/

I ran this command: Used iThemes Security Plugin to change the login url

It produced this output: Page not found

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: A2 Hosting

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): I have no idea

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Cpanel

I apologize for not having all the answers!
Thanks for your help!

Warmly,
Gail

Hi,

This topic is not related to the forum. Hense it’s being flagged as off-topic.

If you have any questions regarding a plugin, please contact their support at WordPress or the author.

Thank you

And now you can't login to disable it... :weary:

Access your website in your favorite (S)FTP client or use your web host's online file manager to navigate to the wp-content/plugins subdirectory of your WordPress installation, then delete the better-wp-security directory. This will remove the plugin and should allow you to login to your WordPress admin again.

This plugin shouldn't be necessary to get your admin interface to load over HTTPS; WordPress is perfectly capable of doing that on its own. But if you want to reinstall and continue to use it anyway you will need to get further help from the plugin's forum.
