I have got a problem with installing lets encrypt autossl on my server.
I ran this command: # /scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider
It produced this output:
-bash: /scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider: No such file or directory
I don’t really know what to do as I can’t find out where I can find the directory on my server as I don’t think I do have one. And I can’t find on the internet where I can find the autossl download link from so I could use it via wget to download the file on my server and install it.
My operating system is (include version): CentOs 6.9 (Final)
My web server is (include version): i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I’m using a control panel to manage my site as the version of the control panel is: 56.0 (build 47)
Can you please help me how I can find the autossl to download it and install it on my server??
That is saying that you want to run a file from the directory /scripts. How did you choose to use this particular location and command? Did you have some documentation that told you to use it?
AutoSSL is developed by cPanel and having a quick look at their article the command you are using is coming from there. As a future reference if you are following instructions then sharing the link helps community members isolate and investigate.
I don’t know if Benny Vasquez from cPanel is on the LetsEncrypt forums (she may be) however she seems to be owning the development for AutoSSL
I would suggest that you follow this up on the cPANEL forum as it is a cPanel client and initiative.
A possible explanation is below HOWEVER as I am not a cPanel Expert
