What are the limitations of the staging server?

It was mentioned in a comment from another thread me that the staging server (https://acme-staging.api.letsencrypt.org) has more relaxed limits than the production server.

Are the limits of the staging server published anywhere? If we are using it to test scripts and automation, will it actually issue a cert or otherwise indicate what would be success on the production cert?

I’m not sure of the limits, but it will issue a certificate signed by “Happy Hacker Fake CA” if the process succeeds.

Yeah, it has relaxed ratelimits and the “Happy hacker fake CA” is the main ‘restriction’ on the staging server.
