All:
we want to mount the "live" folder via nfs to gain access to the certs on a remote host. However, once we mount host (fstab or manual) the pem files are visible, but red, but not clickable.
How can I resolve this?

If you want to do this approach, you need to mount both /etc/letsencrypt/live and /etc/letsencrypt/archive.
