Have you checked if AWS supports snap?
Try:
snap version

Most likely it won't support it out of the box...

You could try adding snap with something like:



[not sure which closest resembles AWS version]

But if you could get snap installed, then it's a SNAP from then on!

Certbot-auto is easy to replace.
just find it
find / -name certbot-auto
put the newer version on top of it [replace it]
