Rate limit increase

@jsha May I sincerely request you to help us as well . I have filled out the form as well and this today held up our release. This morning we hit the rate limit and at this time we are seeing this error.

reason: 'Failed to create Order: acme: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rateLimited: Error
creating new order :: too many certificates already issued for: example.net:

Please check the form I have filled , I appreciate the help.

thank you very much @jsha. May I know when will this be serviced . I am just waiting for our release to be promoted and this kind of blocked us :slight_smile: . Sincerely appreciate if we could get some timeframe.

To check whether your rate limit got deployed, we’ll need more information:

  • What error message are you getting?
  • What client software?
  • What account ID or domain name did you request a rate limit override for?

All my orders are now going into Error State as well.

  • What client software?
     we use cert-manager with ACME protocol and Nginx ingress with http01 challenge
  • What account ID or domain name did you request a rate limit override for?
      we have lets encrypt-production with account 78235185 and letsencrypt-staging with 12457409.

Thanks for the extra info. I don’t see those account IDs in our list of responses to the rate limiting form. Could you please submit it again?

Yep, I see a rate limit request with the IDs you pasted above. It looks like your previous request used different IDs. Can you double check that your account IDs are remaining consistent over time? Otherwise, even after we apply the increase, it won’t wind up applying to new account IDs you create. This can be a particular issue with container-based systems like Kubernetes, since they often drop state.

Also note that we probably won’t land additional changes until next week.

I think this could have happened due to the upgrade from v1API to v2API that we did. But I can now ensure that we won’t be changing now our existing account Ids between the upgrades too. So I can assure you that we will be consistent with the account IDs and will bear the advise in mind.

Hope you can issue us the new rate limits for these account ids now. By Next week you mean Monday @jsha and what time , we are just looking for release to happen. Appreciate help.

Hello LetsEncrypt Team,

I need your help with regards to renewal of our certs or rate limits for my parent domain. We last week exhausted our rate limit on our domain and account ids. Now we are sort of blocked and not been able to move towards our releases.

We need some immediate help with regards to rate limits and help is really appreciated.

my account IDs are:
78940289 - letsencrypt-production
12556836 - letsencrypt-staging

I already submitted my google forms for limit increase but seems no help so far. Any lets encrypt engineer your help is greatly appreciated.
