how about openssl s_client -connect youtube.com:443 -tls1_3 (or google.com or this page etc)
does your system support tls 1.3 at all?
maybe your ssl library is mangled up

Yes this is giving all the certificates and CAs unlike for my website.

try installing nginx from upsteam? (use mainline)

Since the server is using TLSv1.2 so below command should give the output, but it is also being timed out.

openssl s_client -connect youtubecut.com:443 -tls1_2

by the way I noticed you didn’t put ciphers in main nginx.conf. can you add there too?
same config as I sat

Can’t we use TLSv1.2 ?

your nginx supports tls 1.2, but only deprecated ciphersuits that remove in morden browsers
so only IE11 can connect to it.
this is why I recommend you to use upsteam nginx so make sure it use newest version.

To give some context, it was working till yesterday. Somehow it started timing out from today suddenly.

I have no idea now other then what I said before, using upsteam nginx

I think your nginx looking at wrong openssl version, but I don’t know why or how to fix

Apparently if i generated a certificate using https://www.buypass.com/ as CA for my first domain abhaysrivastav.net. It worked. Don’t know whats wrong with Letsencrypt.

I have a custom webroot path and i’m using webroot option also

sudo certbot certonly --webroot -w /home/ubuntu/youtubecut-frontend/dist/ -d www.youtubecut.com -d youtubecut.com

Still the certificate generated is not valid for youtubecut.com

Try reversing the order and putting youtubecut.com first - that is the main domain name. The “www” is a subdomain. Having the main domain name first may make a difference. Normally one would have the main domain first and foremost, followed by sub-domains. It’s worth a try.
