Procesing frozen when renew

When I wanted to renew my ssl certificate, I got «procesing __________» and nothing after that. Can somebody help me with that?

My domain is: pharmabuddy.ie

I ran this command: sudo letsencrypt renew

It produced this output: Processing /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/ my-domain.com.conf

My web server is (include version): nginx/1.10.0

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Ubuntu 16.04.1

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: https://www.register365.com/

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

Please show:
sudo letsencrypt --version

Also, there is a stable nginx/1.10.1 release.
This may not make any difference here; but it may be worth looking into.

That version is more than 1.5 years old (Client Version 0.4.1)
I would prefer that you try an updated version instead.
