Problems with auto renew of the certificate on haproxy

Hi there, when i try to renew my certificate with following command: letsencrypt renew, i get following error message:

The program haproxy (process ID 13585) is already listening on TCP port 80. This
will prevent us from binding to that port. Please stop the haproxy program
temporarily and then try again. For automated renewal, you may want to use a
script that stops and starts your webserver. You can find an example at
_Getting Started - Let's Encrypt
Alternatively you can use the webroot plugin to renew without needing to stop
and start your webserver.

Is it possible to renew my certificate without stopping haproxy?

look into DNS or HTTPS validations

You could also perhaps use the webroot plugin, as the error message suggests. :slight_smile:
