Problems w/ completing process while installing on Amazon Lightsail

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better.

My domain is: http://www.evansinvestigations.com

I ran this command:./certbot-auto certonly --webroot -w /home/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/ -d wordpresstutorialsadvanced.in -d www.wordpresstutorialsadvanced.in

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):not sure

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):not sure

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:Amazon

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know):yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):no

I think you need to check on your DNS. That domain doesn’t seem to resolve to anything.

Thank you for your reply.

I did see on one of the command lines regarding the error to check the DNS. I’m guessing they are referring to the Nameservers?

I have confirmed that I have an ‘A’ Record, which is www.evansinvestigations.com. After that I checked to make sure that the Nameservers that Amazon Lightsail provided are exactly what is in place where I manage my domain name at. FYI it is registered at GoDaddy.

There is. But there isn't an A record for evansinvestigations.com.. It's separate, and you need to add one.

Thank you for pointing that out. After adding the additional A Record everything else went pretty smooth.
