Will be automatically renewed

My domain is: https://bootslenkung.de

IP address: 185.119.119.107

OS: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Product: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.61 Update #5, last updated on June 10, 2024 10:40 PM

Check for updates

Checked on June 20, 2024 06:25 AM.

But Firefox says:

Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for bootslenkung.de expired on 20/06/2024. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

It looks like your web server is sending an expired certificate, even though it got renewed on May 21 (and again today). If your only access is through Plesk, then you probably need to contact your hosting provider. Whatever process that it should be having to install the certificate after acquiring it probably isn't working.

Hello,
the issue is solved and it was in the Litespeed webserver we are running instead of Apache. Once switched back to Apache and then switched again to Litespeed, the issue was solved. We'll see if it happens again with the other sites hosted in our dedicated server.
Thanks for the help!

Not specific to Plesk, but what sometimes happens is the HTTP server has not been reloaded to pick up renewed certificate and keeps sending previously loaded one, potentially for days/weeks at a time.

The solution depends on setup. Most ACME clients can be configured to reload services, some servers can also be enabled to observe config files on disk for changes, etc.
