i have a main domain installed ssl with let’s encrypt . now i want to install another ssl for my subdomain .
how do i do it ? i’m using IIS. is it just same as i install my main domain before ? just add another site ?

yes, it's the same.
If you have already a certificate, you should be able to use the same Letsencrypt client.
do you mean i can use my main domain certificate for my subdomain ? if i recall it correctly , i install it as a single website not wildcard or multihost.
No, your current certificate doesn't have your subdomain name. You need a new certificate. But you can use the same tool to create the new certificate.
