Nextcloudpi - letwsencrypt

Dears,
I am a complete newbie and don´t haver that much expirience with Linux / Raspbian / debial at all.
I´ve tried to install nextcloudpi with the command line and the image as well.
Eyerything ok so far - but can´t get the Certificate / letsencrypt somehow.
my webpage nexcloud is avaialiable unsecured and I can get access the the site

My domain is:samclouid.ddns.net

I get all the time a failure message

I´ve checkend the let´s debug site already, it shows all ok

Have ran the command of certbot

sudo certbot certonly

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Hi @Nino

If you want to create a certificate with samclouid.ddns.net as domain name, why is there a http-01 challenge for noip.com?

That can't work.

If you aren't the owner of noip.com, you can't create a certificate with that domain name.

PS: There

you have already created a certificate.

thanks for your prompt reply
it was my undertstandiung too.

  1. I´ve created a subdomain by noip.com
    samcloud.ddns.net
    which is rachable via web (unsecured)
  2. with certbot it seemy a certificate has been issued etc. now how can I implement this in my nextclouipi iinstallation? it seems the files (files / certificate itself etc.) may be in other directory than it should be, right? how can I fix this?

Check your nextcloud documentation.

That should never be a problem.

Thanks dear,
I´ve seen some videos and some documentaion as well- most of the users get this installed and configured instantly. Don´t know what the porblem is with mine.
the documentation from nextcloudpi website is too complicated for me, if you mean this one:

I really don´t know what exactly have to type in and what the steps are.

I´ve typed just my subdomian from noip and tryied to get the certificate - it shows all ok but the site is still unsecured :- :neutral_face:
