New certificate is not being used

I ran certsage yesterday to update the certificate. All execution stages ran to completion, however when I check the certificate it is shown as expired. Using the file manager I see a new certificate, but this is being ignored.

My domain is: emotionalcompetency.org

I ran this command: https://www.digicert.com/help/ (after running certsage.php)

It produced this output: TLS Certificate is expired.

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: GoDaddy

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): cpanel access

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Yes cpanel

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):

Hello @lbeaumont, welcome to the Let's Encrypt community. :slightly_smiling_face:

Here is a list of issued certificates crt.sh | emotionalcompetency.org, the latest one being 2023-03-02. https://crt.sh/ can have a time lag, so you may have very recently been issued a new certificate.

Edit: https://search.censys.io/ results https://search.censys.io/search?resource=certificates&sort=RELEVANCE&per_page=25&virtual_hosts=EXCLUDE&q=emotionalcompetency.org+ does not show any newer certificate too.

Here is the present certificate being served https://decoder.link/sslchecker/emotionalcompetency.org/443 and is a match for this crt.sh | 8836950471

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

It looks like you're on a GoDaddy system that uses cPanel and you've also tried certsage.php.

Hi Leland. :slightly_smiling_face:

I apologize if this is a silly question, but did you remember to click the install button on the front of CertSage after acquiring your new certificate?

Also, @Bruce5051 has given great advice considering that emotionalcompetency.org and www.emotionalcompetency.org were both previously covered by your certificate.

Thanks guys.
I went through the CertSage run carefully.
I requested 4 domain names.
(.com, .org, with and without www)
I definitely performed the install step.
I got an OK acknowledgement to each step.

The certificate is still missing, or unused.

What more can you advise?

I see a cert for those 4 names issued just about 45 minutes ago

And, your server is using it. Can you describe what you did for the benefit of others?

Excellent!
I took care to include all 4 domain names: emotionalcompetency.com, www.emotionalcompetency.com, emotionalcompetency.org, and www.emotionalcompetency.org in the CertSage window.

Thanks!
