Multi Server Issue - CPanel new accounts failing with Lets Encrypt

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My testing domain is: confessionsofadancemom.com

I ran this command: Cpanel plugin install for LE

It produced this output: There was a problem processing your request

  • Error issuing certificate
  • Failed to issue certificate
  • Error connecting to service: acme: error fetching response: Get https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

My web server is (include version): Nginx 1.15.7

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Centos7

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Myself

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): Yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Yes, FleetSsl via cPanel

Testing other boxes as well as this appears to be multiple servers having this issue.

Perhaps it fails because both http and https connections to confessionsofadancemom.com return 404?

Or maybe the system can no longer connect outbound?
Try:
curl https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory

(We’ve been investigating this off-forum and I don’t think we’ll need assistance from staff as I had anticipated previously. Sorry for the noise).

Sorry that’s my test domain. Moved to another server to test there as well. Been working with Alex, and he seems to think its my Ip6 setup. Its just weird all these boxes have connection issues now when its been running so well.

Cool - Good luck.
Your in good hands
