Manual certonly fails http-01 challenge

Running certonly and manual since renew was failing and I wanted to make sure webserver config was not an issue. CA cannot access the acme-challenge file, though it is present and being served by webserver. I'm stumped.

My domain is:

tiles.resi.solutions

I ran this command:

sudo certbot certonly --manual -v

It produced this output:

Something is wrong with your webserver in general: it accepts connections on HTTP port 80, but after that it doesn't do anything any more. This includes both the challenge file and your website in general: it's simply not working.

Please fix your website so it works properly on port 80 first before continuing with trying to get a certificate.

By the way: why did you choose the --manual plugin? And not e.g. the --webroot plugin?

Funnily enough it does actually respond using HTTPS on port 443. Not sure why that is though.

You're right, thank you. An issue with port forwarding from the router. Sorry to trouble everyone!

I'll look into --webroot, thanks.
