I'm developing a site om my local machine using LocalWP as the server. I'm creating a Wordpress site using Bricks Builder and it requires a secure server (HTTPS) or domain name starting localhost. Unfortunately, LocalWP does not serve HTTPS and some licensed plugins don't register licenses for localhost domains. So I need a certificate for a local site being served as mydevdomain.local
Has anyone managed to use Let's Encrypt with LocalWP?
Let's Encrypt, or any publicly trusted CA for that matter, will never issue certificates for local domains like example.local.

I rea through the troubleshooting section, and got it working. There was a hangover from changing the router mode where I was getting mydomainname.local:portnumber! I just didn't see it.
