please start with the basics.
If you have root access, then select a client.
If you don’t have root access, your hoster must support own certificate installations. So check the documentation of your hoster.
It seems to be long process.
What control panel are you using? Some of them support easy, automated SSL certificates, using Let's Encrypt or other CAs.
Using control panel provided by my web host crazydomains. It does not contain automated SSL service. I got 3 months free Web Hosting with my domain.
