Increasing the number of days of certificate expiry

The default days of Letsencrypt certificate is for 90 days.

Can I increase this limit, say, 180 days?

If so, how can I make this change for the existing certificates?

Choose a different CA, e.g. BuyPass offers free certs with 180 day lifetime using ACME.

Please note that when properly automated the certificate lifetime doesn't matter at all.
