I just wanted to confirm I am seeing exactly what Rouzax describes here. I am able to successfully follow the instructions provided by @Knagis above, but every time letsencrypt-win-simple’s scheduled task to renew runs, the issue returns when the new cert is installed.
@nemchik: Can you verify that you’ve removed all expired certificates (signed by X1) from your server config?

I have checked the system and non system areas for root, intermediate, and personal certs to verify I only have the X3 and it’s not expired.
