HTTPS not working

Hello all,

My domain is: www.yoga-kids.net

I ran this command: https://www.yoga-kids.net on a browser

It produced this output: Your connection isn't private, net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

My config:

  • The web site is hosted on my synology NAS
  • My domain name is registered on gandi.net

Gandi.net - LiveDNS is enabled:
@ 10800 IN SOA ns1.gandi.net. hostmaster.gandi.net. 1739288660 10800 3600 604800 10800
@ 10800 IN CAA 0 issue "letsencrypt.org"
www 10800 IN CNAME christopheleclercq.synology.me.

My router:
My router ports 80 and 443 are open and redirected to my NAS

My synology NAS:
A SSL certificate (Let's encrypt) is added (and active = locker with green checkmark) for www.yoga-kids.net - 05/12/2025

Let's Debug states that all is OK!

But when I enter https://www.yoga-kids.net on a browser, it produced this output: Your connection isn't private, net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

I am lost here! Could you help?

Thank you,
Christophe.

I can see you got a new Let's Encrypt cert but for some reason your Synology is still using its default self-signed cert. Not the new LE cert.

You probably need to ask on a Synology forum how to correct that.

You can see the cert your browser sees using its detail display. Or a cert testing site like this: https://decoder.link/sslchecker/www.yoga-kids.net/443

Thanks. I just started a thread on nas-forum.com

FYI, I updated the certficate settings on synology NAS:
Service Certificate
FTPS: www.yoga-kids.net
Synology Drive Server: www.yoga-kids.net
Synology Storage Console Server: www.yoga-kids.net
System default: www.yoga-kids.net
And now, decode.link is all green. I still need to figure out the minimal settings...

Christophe.
