Have a handful of Google domains and have had no issues with getting Let's Encrypt to generate certificates using the same shared nginx-proxy and letsencrypt-nginx-proxy-companion setup. Therefore I am assuming, for now at least, this is an issue with how I have the domain configured through Namecheap.
Seeking assistance on how to further triage the issue I'm encountering, having exhausted my limited knowledge and searching through these forums and others.
Turns out digging in for better context quickly led me down the right path; it was due to "ACME server returned an error: urn:acme:error:unauthorized :: The client lacks sufficient authorization :: Error creating new authz :: Validations for new domains are disabled in the V1 API (End of Life Plan for ACMEv1)". Adding a patch for letsencrypt-nginx-proxy-companion did the trick.
