Are you using shared hosting or dedicated hosting?
If shared hosting, you’ll probably need to use the SSL/TLS in the Security section of cPanel to manage your certificates. I can provide further instruction. The page that @JuergenAuer referenced makes some good points, but is a bit melodramatic in my opinion.
