How to install let's encrypt ssl certificate utility on CentOS 5.6

My OS is CentOS 5.6 and Apache web server is running on the machine. Any documentation available, please share.

CentOS 5 is EOL since some time. Certbot is probably not a good option, if it works at all.

I suggest giving an ACME client based on Go a go, such as lego or acmetool, as it is less likely to be affected by the really old packages on your system.

You’ll probably want to use the --webroot option, or --dns if your DNS host supports it.
