Hey,
Has anyone had any success in configuring haproxy to use the certs. Its probably a lack of knowledge on configuring haproxy ssl but i am having to manually combine in the key and i can’t get the ca to be valid.
Any help would be awesome.

You had to combine full chain and privkey.
For example:
cat fullchain.pem privkey.pem >> haproxycert.pem
Thus you can use it in haproxy.cfg:
bind 0.0.0.0:443 ssl crt /etc/letsencrypt/live/mydomain/haproxycert.pem no-sslv3 ciphers ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:DES-CBC3-SHA:!NULL:!aNULL:!RC4:!RC2:!MEDIUM:!LOW:!EXPORT:!DES:!MD5:!PSK:!3DES

Would it not be better to use
ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:DHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES128-GCM-SHA256:kEDH+AESGCM:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:DHE-DSS-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:!aNULL:!eNULL:!EXPORT:!DES:!RC4:!3DES:!MD5:!PSK
This way Chrome will not complain
