Github Pages + Cloudflare + Custom Domain

My domain is: detroitfabric.com

It is a github pages site, with cloudflare DNS. I have added a CAA record for lets encrypt and changed the A name like github says to do, but github still won’t serve the site in https

a) you’ve got a HTTPS -> HTTP redirect in place
b) the certificate for https://detroitfabric.com/ is from CloudFlare, not from Let’s Encrypt
c) I have no idea what you’re actually doing: “changed the A name like github says to do”… Where does github say anything to do what exactly? By not giving us enough information, we can’t help you further.
