Getting DNS resolution failures for a domain

The client is returning a DNS resolution error for uat.pharmacyonline.com.au

IMPORTANT NOTES:
 - The following errors were reported by the server:

   Domain: uat.pharmacyonline.com.au
   Type: connection
Detail: DNS problem: query timed out looking up A for
   uat.pharmacyonline.com.au

To fix these errors, please make sure that your domain name was
entered correctly and the DNS A record(s) for that domain
contain(s) the right IP address. Additionally, please check that
your computer has a publicly routable IP address and that no
firewalls are preventing the server from communicating with the
client. If you're using the webroot plugin, you should also verify
that you are serving files from the webroot path you provided.

I am able to resolve the record, and https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/uat.pharmacyonline.com.au shows it resolving. The domain is hosted with DNSPod

You’re not the first person to have issues with DNSPod and Let’s Encrypt. :frowning:

https://community.letsencrypt.org/search?q=dnspod

Their service just isn’t reliable from the United States.

If you give it a few tries, it will likely work eventually. Keep in mind the “5 failed validations per hour” rate limit.

Your other option is using a different DNS provider.

Edit:

Also, they don’t support 0x20 case randomization, which may be a problem. I don’t know if Let’s Encrypt cares.
