Hello I have a Synology NAS and I just (yesterday) got a domain name from OVH.
My object is to get a certificat for my NAS. I do not run any website on it yet.
I use DynDNS to point to my IP and have let the normal port-fowarding done through UPnP between my NAS and the internet box.
My issue here is that I can't get the certificate through the steps drescribe here : https://www.synology.com/fr-fr/knowledgebase/DSM/help/DSM/AdminCenter/connection_certificate

The error message that I get is : "Échec de la connexion à Let's Encrypt. Assurez-vous que le nom de domaine est valide."
The problem is that I don't have any certificat

Thanks in advance for helping out

There is a lot missing in the information you provided.

What is the domain name?

What DynDNS name points to your IP?

Which port(s) does that allow?

That shows nothing leading to the problem nor anything specific enough to work with to resolve that problem.
If you could show more of the log file entries leading up to that error, it may be beneficial.

Hello rg305,

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
I avoid giving those info for security & privacy reason (if you need the domain & DynDNS I can send them directly to you by MP).
Here are some additionnal infos :
ports : 11111->associate port on NAS for HTTPS
11110->associate port on NAS for HTTP
The problem is that I go through a graphical interface so no logs accessible here to show

LE requires HTTP on port 80 access for validation.
