Generating SAN cerificate and How many domain can be used in single SAN cerificate

Can you please help me how to create a SAN certificate in Linux environment and how many domain can be added to that particular SAN.

I'd suggest

For Let's Encrypt, up to 100 names can be added to an individual SAN certificate.
