I tried a traceroute and it stops at IP 62.67.4.10 in the UK instead of 46.117.123.105 in Israel.
If I try a traceroute from Germany, it stops at IP 212.143.203.131 (Israel, Cellcom).
Why would my ISP route a request from Italy to Israel through the UK, I don't know (it's not necessarily a problem), but it stopping there is a problem.
I would sleep on it and try again tomorrow or in a couple of days, because I suspect this is some kind of routing issue that will eventually get resolved and does not impact you alone (do you have any problems visiting smaller websites hosted in europe/us?)
Nope. I can reach to any website I want.
Aight it's getting kind of late, so I'll call it a day in a few minutes and try again in a few days.
Please comment for any additional tips.
Yeah, I see weird routing too. If I use a VPN to Israel I can see it fine but if I route the same request with same setup but without the VPN I cannot. Mind, this is a Windows config so diff than the AWS I can reach it with consistently.
I tried various user-agents with the good AWS curl requests and all worked.
I said smaller websites because if they're hosted by a CDN like cloudflare or akamai it's most likely using their internal network with its own routing and the "exit node" is on your ISP network.
Smaller websites don't use that and go on the public internet.
