Error Creating Certificate

My domain is: eklundarna.com

Hi. I am trying to install a certificate for my exchange2016 labserver, but no matter what i try i allways get the same error.

Getting this when running wacs Software version 2.1.0.509
[EROR] No sites with named bindings have been configured in IIS. Add one or choose ‘Manually input host names’.
[EROR] Target plugin IISSite aborted or failed

Tested also to add manually but its not working

Any chance i can get some help. Where can i change the site so its pointing where it should?

Hi @pelleklant

you must have a running webserver. But there is no one, only a timeout - https://check-your-website.server-daten.de/?q=eklundarna.com

Create a website with port 80 and start that website. That's required if you want to use http validation of your domain.

I have only setup the domain so i can configure the exchange, im not going to host a webpage or anything like that. Only webmail

Please start with some basics:

Then read something about challenge types:

If you want to use http validation, a running webserver is required. If you don’t run a webserver, you have to use another validation method.

Or, you can use a client that offers a standalone mode where it creates a temporary web server to satisfy the challenge.

I was basicly loocing for a certificate to import in to the mailserver for secure communication and validation

A client with a standalone authentication mode should work well, but I’m not very familiar with the options on Windows.
