My domain name is too long and _acme-challenge, so I can't save it in a txt file. Can I shorten it somehow in the DNS records and save it?
Welcome @Goychay23
How many characters long is your domain name before prefix with _acme-challenge?
Even better, what is that name?
You say "save it in a txt file". Did you mean as a TXT DNS record? Because saving things in a file should not have such limits. Can you explain more details of this problem?

Look bro, my domain is 31 lines or something. While I am trying to add the text file to the DNS records, I cannot write it because it is too long.
The length of a domain name is given in characters not lines. Do you mean you have 31 TXT records in your DNS?
It is fine if English is not your best language. Please just give the actual name so we can talk easier.
I'm sorry, my English is terrible, but my domain name provider actually assigned me SSL, but since I changed the host machine, I wanted to assign it myself again with certbot.
How can I contact you as an am?
mike reply please
Bro, if you could send me an e-mail, at least my English is not that bad, please come on, man, I have work to do, so I have to do with the site anyway.
No, sorry. I am an unpaid volunteer offering my time and expertise for free. Many of the other helpers here are also volunteers.
I do not provide personal info. I only help with posts in this public forum.
If you provide more info such as answering the questions on the form you were shown that would help.
Or, describe your problem in your own language and we have translation services.

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.
My domain is:

or certbot-auto --version
if you're using Certbot):
Bak kardeşim şimdi ben alan adını girdim ama girdigim alan adı _acme-challange.31 satır alan adı alan adını veremiycem çok savunmasız ve hedef olmasını pek istemem açıkcası domain.com kontrol paneli üzerinden dns kaydı yaparken _acme-challange ve sonra gelen domain kelimesi fazla uzun olduğu için yazılmıyor alan adı sağlayıcım fazla uzun ad yazmama izin vermiyor dns kaydederken ondan dolayı cerbotla sertifika isteği atarken dns kaydı ad kısmı tam değil diye algılanmıyor acaba bunu kısaltarak yazmananın bir yolu varmı
A 31 character domain name is not very long. There should not be any problem with Certbot or Let's Encrypt handling this.
Usually in a domain control panel you just enter the _acme-challenge
part of the name. Your DNS provider will connect that with your base domain name.
If you try to enter _acme-challenge.domain
in your control panel you would end up with the wrong DNS entry of:
_acme-challenge.domain.domain
You should ask domain.com
for the correct way to enter the TXT record value
Yani acme-challange acme kısmını girersem algılarmı yani o zaman bide öyle gireyim
Geçen defa girdigimde olmamıştı ama bu sefer olur
Does that mean it is working now?
Yok şimdi dns kaydedicem çalışması zaman alıcak o zaman söylerim sana
Çalışmazsa
Olmadı alan adım çok fazla uzun
