I don't see how "you solved it yourself".
When all you did was to do what was already explained to you that you should do [several times]:
I am very sorry for not understand what was said and how it was said, but nowhere within the suggested posts was it told to me to run certbot -d domain1.com and -d domain2
I am dyslexic and if the answers are ambiguous then it is not easy to decipher what you mean or what you are trying to say.
I figured it out doing trial and error, removing the certificate and trying various options. Nothing in the literature guided me into the direction that I ended up taking.
BUT …. Thanks for pointing out my stupidity in not being able to read the test.

That was not the only solution.
If you followed the recommendations, you would have come to the same end result.
Again, if I have understood what was written then I would have gotten there as well. But I did not so I did what I thought would work and that solved my issue.
