I have a wordpress website hosted by lightsail. The url shows https but wordpress dashboard says 'Your website does not use https".
I update the certificates successfully using the lightsail tutorial today.
And what tutorial might that be?
I've seen that tutorial here on the Community earlier today or yesterday and it's terrible. No words for it.
Luckily a fellow volunteer suggested way better tutorials here:
I would recommend looking into those tutorials and if they work for you, forget about the tutorial you just posted.
I already went through those steps.
I've now manually gone into my wp-config.php file to change http to https and that removed the warning on my wordpress dashboard.
..actually it might be okay now
For future reference, you could have also used the instructions linked below to more easily modify your WordPress site address.
