I ran this command: sudo certbot certonly --webroot -w /Applications/MAMP/htdoc

It produced this output: unauthorized, check A/AAAA

please share your log:

/var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log

And create a file (file name 1234) in

/Applications/MAMP/htdoc/.well-known/acme-challenge

then try to load this file via

http://plentipeppa.co.tt/.well-known/acme-challenge/1234

to check if your webroot parameter is correct.
