Certbot.timer missing from certbot package

I’m running Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS.

The file /lib/systemd/system/certbot.timer disappeared after the last update of certbot package.
The symlink in /etc/systemd/system/timers.target.wants is broken now.

The update happened in 22 july and the exact version of the package is
certbot_0.26.1-1+ubuntu16.04.1+certbot+1_all.

It sounds like you’re encountering this Certbot issue that was reported a few hours ago.

Based on the last update there it sounds like a fix is making its way to the package repositories.
