Can't Use with Apache, DV Error

#1

Hello,

I’m trying to setup certs for a couple domains (and their www).

OS: Debian Jesse
Apache Version: Apache/2.4.10 (Debian) OpenSSL/1.0.1k

I get this error:

Failed authorization procedure. www.()chaoswebs(.)net (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client for DV :: Failed to connect to host for DVSNI challenge, glowingsquid(.)com (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client for DV :: Failed to connect to host for DVSNI challenge, www(.)glowingsquid(.)com (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client for DV :: Failed to connect to host for DVSNI challenge, chaoswebs(.)net (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client for DV :: Failed to connect to host for DVSNI challenge

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The following ‘urn:acme:error:connection’ errors were reported by
    the server:

    Domains: chaoswebs(.)net, glowingsquid(.)com, www(.)chaoswebs(.)net,
    www(.)glowingsquid(.)com
Error: The server could not connect to the client for DV

I’m sorry if my issue is obvious, but i really can’t think of whats wrong.

Any assistance someone could provide would be great.

Thanks.

You appear to have redirects in place. If I try to get to http://glowingsquid.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/ then I get a redirect to https://chaoswebs.net/.well-known/acme-challenge/

I’d try removing the redirect for anything in the .well-known/acme-challenge/ folders.
