Alternate ways of proving domain ownership?

My domains are:

these subdomains are part of an EU project for which we need to be able to issue certs to communicate with the rest of the platform components, but we don't have access to ports 80/443 to prove the domain ownership. Is there any other way that this could be achieved via alternate verification methods ?

Thank you

There are three ways:

  • http-01 using port 80
  • tls-alpn-01 using port 443
  • dns-01 using your authoritative nameservers (port 53, but potentially on a different machine).

Yes, and you can read about the DNS challenge here
