Adding additional Domain

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: hostsamerica.com

I ran this command:

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version): nginx/1.18.0

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): centos-release-7-8.2003.0.el7.centos.x86_64

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: BuyVm

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): Yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Yes

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): Centos Webpanel 0.9.8.975

I’m getting a mismatch error and probably need to add the domain hostsamerica.com which I’m strugging with I have a certificate that’s valid for vps.hostsamerica.com

How can I get hostsamerica.com added to that certificate?

If you used CentOS WebPanel to obtain that certificate originally, you can also use the AutoSSL feature on that control panel to obtain certificate for your base domain.

I’ve done that numerous times. It adds everything to the chain except it still gets a mismatch error.
