Account paused – Request to unpause domain exodus.digitalmansa.com

Hello Let's Encrypt Support,

I am writing to request the unpausing of my ACME account associated with the following details:

My FortiGate firewall (running FortiOS 7.2.13) automatically triggered multiple ACME certificate renewal attempts in a short period, which caused the account to be temporarily blocked due to failed authorization rate limits.

The connectivity to the domain on port 80 is confirmed working. The issue was on the client side (FortiGate ACME daemon retrying too aggressively), and it has since been addressed.

Could you please unpause the account so I can renew the certificate for exodus.digitalmansa.com?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Redouane

You'll need to unpause it yourself using the link that was given in your logs--we can't do it for you.

Unless it's just a rate limit that you've hit. In that case there's no other option to wait. You can read more about rate limits at Rate Limits - Let's Encrypt.

The actual error, which you conveniently left out of your opening post, tells you what's actually going on.

Up to 5 authorization failures per identifier can be incurred by one account every hour. The ability to incur authorization failures refills at a rate of 1 per identifier every 12 minutes. Once exceeded, this limit is enforced by preventing any new orders for the same identifier, by the same account until the limit resets.
