this looks like IETF are walking for acme to work on ip address
and ballot for it just passed few days ago.
this specifically mentions http-01 and tls-alpn-01
Can I expect this to to be implemented to let’s encrypt?

Implementing this isn't on our short-term roadmap but I expect it is something we'll look at supporting one day (The draft's author is @roland, a Let's Encrypt engineer). If an eager community member wanted to help there's an open Pebble issue for supporting draft-ietf-acme-ip.
