Why do I get 0001 files?

Getting new conf files, having exactly the same content except version info

-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 631 Oct 10 11:55 www.xxxxxx.xx-0001.conf
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 629 Jul 25 19:57 www.xxxxxx.xx.conf

Normally I would not give a ****, but this stores the renewed certificate in a totally different location (new folder in the live dir). And that is of course not very helpful when you try to automate things!!!

PS maybe it is good to remove the word ‘automated’ from your home page?

PPS do you get some super duper lightning export badge for most hidden posts?

Most likely, there is some overlap in names covered by “similar” active certs.

if I do a

certbot certificates | grep xxxxx

I get only the previous one and the new 0001.
