When will Let's Encrypt's IP certificates be officially launched?

Account IDs posted prior to this message have all been added.

Please let us know how this works out for you - both good and bad. Did anything break? What clients have you used? Are the IP Certs compatible with applications where you wanted them?

Wrote my own ACME client.

Thank you Let's Encrypt.

Hi @mcpherrinm ,

If it's not too late, could I request access for https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/acct/31488023 please? I'll be doing DoT and DoH with it, eventually for a cert with hostnames and IP addresses.

Thank you!

Hello,
My account URL is https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/acct/1422386646
I plan to use it for applications that enhance privacy, such as DNS over HTTPS without bootstrap server.

Hey Matthew,

I’d love to have early access to test out IP address support in Auto Encrypt (ACME Client Implementations - Let's Encrypt) and Kitten (https://kitten.small-web.org) as part of the run-up to the launch of the Small Web with Web Numbers (as I’m calling them; Web Numbers – Aral Balkan) next year.

Account URL:

Thank you

I‘d like to use the service for my DNS Server (with DoH). Could I get access to short-lived?

Hope Thanksgiving turned out well for all!

I’d like to participate using ACME account: https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/acct/223017260

My primary goal is to test short-lived and IP-address certificates using acme.sh, since most existing reports focus on other clients. I want to validate issuance and renewal behavior over multiple cycles and ensure that automation works reliably before considering broader deployment. I’ll be starting with only one or two stable (static) public IPs.

I use acme.sh and JS ACME as clients

They work well and can issue certificates mixed with FQDN

Perfect for my use case
